OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and knowledge of dental office procedures to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage health information in compliance with regulations.
Process insurance verifications and assist with medical collections as necessary.
Utilize phone etiquette to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office or as a medical receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with health information management practices is a plus.
Proficiency in medical scheduling software and front desk operations.
Strong understanding of insurance verification processes and medical collections.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact with patients professionally.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
