Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our brand new dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals, ensuring a seamless patient experience, and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures by preparing the treatment area and providing chair-side assistance.
Take dental x-rays (as required), maintain and sterilize instruments, and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed.
Prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and maintenance of their oral health.
Create a welcoming and comforting atmosphere for patients to alleviate any anxiety or concerns they may have.
We can train you, no experience is needed, however radiographic certification is required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.
X-ray certification is required.
Proven experience as a dental assistant is a plus, but we welcome entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn and grow.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is advantageous.
