Our modern, high-end general dentistry practice is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time. This is a leadership role, where you'll manage the clinical operations and ensure exceptional patient care, all while mentoring and guiding one additional dental assistant.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Florida (required).
Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience.
Strong technical skills: cord packing, temporary crowns, nightguards, and Essix retainers
Surgical assisting experience (implants, bone grafting, All-On-X procedures) is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Open Dental software (preferred, not required).
Fluent English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
Highly organized, proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Current CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all back-office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient clinical workflow:
Supervise and mentor one dental assistant to ensure top-tier patient care and efficient team performance.
Manage dental inventory: place supply orders, maintain accurate stock levels, and organize supply rooms.
Take full responsibility for tracking, coordinating, and following up on all dental lab cases.
Assist chairside in a wide range of general and surgical procedures, including same-day implants and All-On-X cases.
Capture high-quality FMX radiographs and digital impressions, 3-D Scan.
Pack cord and fabricate temporary crowns, nightguards, and essix retainers in the office.
Assist with preparing cases for clear aligners, including taking photos, scanning teeth, and taking 3-D scan.
Operate and assist with intraoral scanners (required) and CBCT (3-D) scans (preferred).
Maintain strict compliance with infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols.
