Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Take X-rays, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
Maintain patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Stay informed about dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and current best practices in dentistry.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend is a plus.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential for effective communication within the team.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment is desirable.
Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently during procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards patient care.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not required upon hiring.
X-ray license preferred but not required.
