Dental Surgical Assistant - Evensky Periodontics and Dental Implants - Radnor, PA

OverviewWe are seeking to add a dedicated and skilled Periodontal Surgical Assistant to join our dynamic team in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires a background in dental assisting, strong communication skills, desire for continued growth.
Responsibilities

Assist in dental surgical procedures by preparing room and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
Maintain aseptic technique throughout the surgical process to prevent infection.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients as well as delivery of post operative instructions
Provide support to front desk by anticipating needs and assisting with various tasks as required.
Utilize dental software for patient management and documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and information regarding procedures.
Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care in a dental clinic setting.

Experience

Knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology is essential for success in this role.
Previous experience with good references
Familiarity with dental surgery is a plus
Digital x-rays, CBCT, digital impressions, 4 handed dentistry, computer knowledge
Looking for the right person with the desire to grow.
Rate negotiable dependent of skill set.
Must have an x-ray license and CPR certificate
CBCT proficient (or ability to learn)
