Clinical Dental Assistant - Roligo Dental - Rutland, VT

Job OverviewAre you an experienced, compassionate Dental Assistant looking to join a welcoming and close-knit team? Our small, two-doctor dental practice is looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to help us deliver exceptional patient care in a comfortable and friendly environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our dental team.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate dental records and patient histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and aseptic techniques.
Utilize dental software such as CareStack for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during patient visits.
Assist with prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and providing chair-side support.
Perform administrative duties as required, including managing medical records and handling patient inquiries.
