Lead Dental Assistant - Kentlands dental group - Millersville, MD

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experiance in rootcanal treatment, oral surgery and general dentistry.
Duties- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment- Take and record patient medical and dental histories and vital signs- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- excellent chairside manner- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain the office organized and clean according to OSHA guidelines
Requirements- at least 1 year experience in assisting dental procedures- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques- Ability to perform X-Rays and utilize imaging systems- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Proficiency in digital intraoral scanning is a preferred.
Proficiency in Dentrix software is a plus.

About Us:
We are newly renovated upscale dental office serving the beautiful Kentlands neighborhood of Gaithersburg.
The office has seven operatories, just renovated and equipped with state of the art technologies such as CBCT, CEREC milling machine, Endodontic microscope, laser, scanner, electric handpieces, wired and wireless hygiene equipment.
Excellent opportunity to gain assisting experience on endodontics, wisdom teeth surgery, Implant, and family dentistry.
