OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health and identify any potential issues or concerns.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans for patients.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in the clinic.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.

Skills

Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the team and with patients.
Familiarity with medical coding practices related to dental procedures is a plus.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting, particularly in general dentistry or pediatrics, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patient care.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to work effectively within a team while also being self-motivated and detail-oriented.
