About Us:Our dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Lead Dental Assistant to enhance our clinical operations and patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient workflow.
Cord Packing: Expertly place retraction cord to facilitate accurate impressions and optimal crown seating.
Crown Preparation: Accurately mark and fit preliminary and temporary crowns, ensuring proper occlusion and fit.
Digital Scanning: Utilize digital impression systems (e.g., Medit, iTero, CEREC) to capture precise dental images for treatment planning.
Sterilization & Infection Control: Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to guidelines.
Patient Education: Provide clear instructions on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior dental assistants, fostering a collaborative and efficient team dynamic.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a dental assistant with hands-on experience in the specified duties.
Certifications: CPR and X-ray certifications; RDA or CDA preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital impression systems and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
Attention to Detail: Precision in clinical procedures and documentation.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Leadership: Ability to lead by example and contribute to a positive work environment.
