Registered Dental Hygienist - Acton Smile Hub - Acton, MA

Acton Smile Hub is a busy family dental practice in Acton, MA providing comprehensive family dentistry for all ages in a comfortable office that feels like home and welcoming for everyone.
We are looking to hire a part time dental hygienist for Fridays (7AM to 4PM). We are looking for a highly motivated, outgoing and energetic self-starter with great communication skills, drive for continuous improvement and passion for periodontics.
We are a technologically advanced practice, so computer skills are a must. We are looking for someone who values preventative and comprehensive care along with patient education. We schedule 1 hr prophy appointments and allocate 90 minutes for scaling and root planning appointments. All new patients are seen by the doctor first for a comprehensive new patient exam and treatment planning. Our hygienists have access to many Spear Education videos and training so that they can continuously enhance their skills and education and stay in touch with the latest techniques and methodologies.

Responsibilities:
· Under the general supervision of the dentist, improve the oral health of our patients by providing quality dental care and hygiene services to patients including prophylaxis, applying fluoride and protective sealants, digital intraoral radiography, scaling and root planning, debridement, and other periodontal maintenance procedures.
· Assist the dentist and other staff in a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties as needed.
· Ensure all patients enjoy a positive experience and are treated with the care and compassion.
· Interact positively with patients to provide information and education about oral hygiene, handle and resolve patient concerns with enthusiasm and empathy.
· Ensure all patient records and related documentation are managed and maintained timely, accurately, and consistent with all HIPAA and related regulations and requirements.
Education:
· Current Registered Dental Hygienist with MA state licensure.
· Current CPR and radiation safety certification.
· Certification to administer local anesthesia is preferred.
Experience:
· Dentrix Ascend experience a big plus
Compensation and benefits:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($45.00 - $60.00 per hour)
