Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of infection control protocols, patient assessment, and documentation within a dental clinic environment. Part time flexible hours! Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with clinic standards.
Utilize Dentrix for scheduling, patient management, and record keeping.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay updated on current dental practices, medical terminology, and advancements in the field.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical coding and documentation processes is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices and safety regulations in dentistry.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental management software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral health matters.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate care to patients.
RDH license in Texas is required.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
