Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of dental issues. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a commitment to patient education, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health and treatment needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to root canal therapy, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
Administer anesthesia and manage pain control for patients undergoing procedures.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Document all medical histories, treatments, and procedures accurately in patient records.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in medical documentation and dental fabrication techniques.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Knowledge of infection control practices and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for patients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
