OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Register Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a sterile environment to promote optimal health and safety.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage infection control protocols and ensure compliance with aseptic techniques.
Assist in Endodontic, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Periodontics procedures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of dental terminology and practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental assisting, with a strong understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and dental terminology.
Proficient in using dental software such as Eaglesoft; experience with Epic is a plus.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in CPR, X-Ray certification (RDA license, if applied as RDA).
