Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed, demonstrating patience and care with younger patients.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and vital signs monitoring is essential.
Experience using 3D scanners for imaging is a plus.
Knowledge of endodontics procedures is advantageous.
Understanding of infection control measures within a dental clinic setting is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
