Dental Assistant X-ray licensed for Pediatric Practice - NK dental LLC - Germantown, MD

Growing pediatric practice is looking for a Maryland X-Ray licensed Dental Assistant to work in its pediatric dental practices located in Damascus, MD (Tue, Wed, Fri) and Frederick, MD (Thur). Working days are Tue 8-5pm, Wed 10-6pm, Thur 8-5pm, Fri 8-3pm and 1 saturday a month 8-12noon. Mondays would be either Frederick Location or in Hospital as required.
The practice is doctor owned and is dedicated to our mission of raising the standard of children's oral healthcare! We are looking for a someone who shares our values and is as passionate about helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health!
Job Duties include, but not limited to:

Assisting doctor and hygienist during recall appointments
Talking with patients and parents to assure a positive visit to our office
Entering thorough notes into the computer and mastering the software (Opendental and iDentalsoft)
Assisting doctor during sedations and operative procedures in office and Hospital
Sterilization, cleaning instruments, tray set up

Necessary Qualifications/Skills:

Maryland Dental Radiology Licensure
Though training is involved, must have prior dental assisting experience
Pass thorough background check for Hospital accreditation.

Previous dental assisting & taking X-ray in pediatric population
