Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Take dental imaging as required, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate dental records and assist with dictated treatment plans.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to assist in various dental procedures effectively.
Support four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and post-operative care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred .
Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and equipment is an asset.
Familiarity with dental coding systems is advantageous.
Strong understanding of infection control practices in a clinical setting.
Proficient knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is desirable.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
