Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients throughout the process.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment.
• Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
• Provide support in various specialties including prosthodontics and pediatrics, adapting to the specific needs of each patient.
• Manage patient flow by coordinating appointments and assisting with front desk duties as a dental receptionist when necessary.
• Maintain organized medical records and ensure all patient information is up-to-date and confidential.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
• Familiarity with general dentistry practices, medical terminology, and vital signs is essential.
• Knowledge of prosthodontics and pediatrics is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in using dental systems for record management is preferred.
