Job Summary
We are seeking atemporary, possibly permanent, position for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate must be compassionate and able to provide high-quality dental care to our patients, focusing on preventive measures and education. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure optimal oral health for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
Take and review medical histories to assess patient health and readiness for treatment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document treatment plans and patient progress accurately.
Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Review documentation and medical records to ensure compliance with practice standards.
Experience with Dentrix and Dexis preferred.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles, anatomy, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in educating patients about oral health.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
