Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. DutiesAs a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Taking and developing X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintaining accurate medical documentation and patient records using Dentrix software.
Performing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Educating patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Utilizing 3D scanners for imaging when required, contributing to advanced dental procedures.
Supporting the front office with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as necessary.

ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Proven experience in dental assisting, with a strong understanding of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical coding and medical imaging techniques is preferred.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong interpersonal skills with patients.
