We are in need of an experienced dental assistant.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures ( extractions, fillings, crown preps, scans,Impressions, ect.)- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients- Perform patient assessments and record medical histories- Update and maintain patient medical records and documentation- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- Must have a Texas Dental Assisting License- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of a dental assistant training program or relevant experience- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Note: Experience working with Dentrix Ascend and Carestream is a plus.
