Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a long-term temporary position from June 2025 through October 2025. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. This position may have the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We are a friendly, quality focused private dental practice in beautiful Seal Beach, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and break down operatories with exceptional infection control practices.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Take and organize digital dental X-rays (if licensed)
• Record patient medical and dental histories.
• Provide patients with pre-and post-operative instructions.
• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant Certification or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California

• Current BLS (Basic Life support/CPR) certification.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication interpersonal skills.  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work as part of a cohesive team in a quality focused environment.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm, Occasional Fridays 8:30am - 2:30pm.
