Dental Assistant needed part-time on Fridays

Job Description

We are a private General dental practice in Los Alamitos, seeking a back office dental assistant/RDA, front office experience is a plus, to join our team who is professional with great customer service skills. We are looking for part-time help on Fridays. 

Computer skills with a minimal 1 year Dental experience is a must. Dentrix and Dexis knowledge is a plus. This is a great opportunity to work in a fee for service Non HMO practice with a long term stability. 

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and maintaining a sterile environment. 
• Utilize dental terminology and knowlege of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
• Answer phones, make appointments, and assist the front office when needed.
• Manage patien records ensuring compliance with Hippa regulations
• perform X-rays and assist with various dental treatments
• Provide excellent customer service, addressomg patient inquiries and ensuring a positiveexperience. 
• Maintain office organization, cleanliness, and supporting overall clinic operations.
