Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use. Take dental X-rays and ensure proper safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with the management of patient files. Provide support in prosthodontics procedures, ensuring all materials are ready for use. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently as a dental receptionist when needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming environment for young patients. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of medical coding being a plus. Familiarity with dental systems, including electronic health records, is advantageous. Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding of prosthodontics procedures is desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
