Orthodontic Assistant (RDA/OA) needed in our Anaheim, CA dental office

We are a private Orthodontic Office located in Anaheim Hills. We're looking for the right team member to join our orthodontic family! The ideal candidate is someone who is personable and friendly, responsible, compassionate and treats each patient like family. Spanish speaking is a plus. This job has friendly co-workers and a chance to grow and learn new skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontists and other team members with patient care.
• Bond and remove braces
• Monthly braces and wire adjustments
• Manage, order, and deliver orthodontic appliances
• Perform aligner tasks: scan teeth, bond and remove attachments, deliver aligners
• Take full orthodontic records: pan-ceph radiographs, impressions or scans, and photographs
• Manage orthodontic supplies and inventory
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments
• Prepare and turnover operatories for patient care
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for patients.

Qualifications:

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required, OA certification preferred
• Must have 1-2 years of orthodontic experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer competency required
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for patient care.
• Willingness to learn and receptive to feedback

Schedule: 3 clinic days per week

Sample schedule-

• Monday (9-6pm)
• 2 Wednesdays (10-7pm) per month
• Friday (8-5pm)
• 2 Saturdays (8-3pm). per month

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and 2 Saturdays per mo are required.
