Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Pediatric Focus - Prime Smile East - Indianapolis, IN

Looking for a motivated full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. We are a tight knit, fun group! Must be a team player and enjoy working with kids. We are a general dentistry practice Mon. - Fri., 8 am - 5 pm. NO EVENINGS AND NO WEEKENDS!
Candidate will work directly with the doctor performing a variety of patient care and laboratory duties. We see children through approx. age of 20.
Candidate will work chair side making patients feel as comfortable as possible, preparing them for treatment, obtaining their dental records and performing other services delegated by the supervising Dentist subject to and in accordance with the state dental board regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
•Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
•Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
•Take dental x-rays.
•Manage and complete infection control procedures – i.e. prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
•Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures as applicable.'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
