Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDA to join our fun and small town dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Perform X-Ray imaging as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during dental procedures.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient care.
Adhere to infection control protocols, ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly sanitized.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, including setting up necessary tools and materials.
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.
Must be a licensed DA
Familiarity with dental systems and procedures is advantageous. Our office uses Open Dental, TRIOS 3 and CEREC.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
Restorative function and injection certification is a bonus! Pay is negotiable.
We have patient hours from 8 AM to 4 PM with staff in office normally from 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Thursday.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
