Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Some chair-side assisting experience is preferred. We are willing to train you on the job. Dental Radiology license is required. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the office while providing exceptional support to our dental team and care to our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring proper technique and safety measures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and treatment plans.
Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort and understanding throughout procedures.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and utilizing Eaglesoft systems for record management.
Support endodontics and prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatments.
Stay updated on anatomy knowledge relevant to dental practices to enhance patient education.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following qualifications:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with familiarity in medical coding being a plus.
Proficient in using Eaglesoft systems or similar dental practice management software.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential.
Experience with endodontics, prosthodontics, and four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health is beneficial.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
