Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Rogers, AR

Nicholas Yiannios DDS is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our innovative team. As a Dental Assistant at our cutting-edge practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our advanced dental procedures and technologies. Attention to detail is required. Our work week is Monday -Thursday.
Duties:
- Please review our website and explore some of the innovative procedures Dr. Yiannios offers! - Experience with 4-handed dentistry, assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including prosthodontics and general dentistry, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such Cerec, and 3D scanners.- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms for procedures.- Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs accurately.- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.- Ensure compliance with medical documentation and HIPAA regulations.- Sterilization, cleaning the operatories and maintain dental equipment.
Qualifications:- Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a fast-paced dental practice.
-Excellent patient care is critical- Proficiency in using Dentrix, and other relevant software systems.- Familiarity with dental terminology and understanding of dental procedures.- Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist with 3D scanning procedures.- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients.- Certification/Registration in Dental Assisting is required.
