Dental Hygienist needed in our Montclair, CA dental office

Join our team! Looking for a hygienist with an upbeat personality, positive attitude, great work ethic, and a strong team player. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will maintain patient comfort, listen to patient needs, and educate patients on periodontal procedures and treatments.

Job Duties You will provide comprehensive periodontal care.

Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist include:

• Periodontal Probings
• Scaling and Root Planning
• Periodontal Maintenance
• Full Mouth Debridement
• Light Scaling and Prophylaxis
• Placement of Arestin
• ZOOM Whitening
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for procedures
• Greeting and preparing patients for treatment
• Participating in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient care
• Scheduling of future and recall appointments
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements As a Registered Dental Hygienist you must have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, excellent patient care skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills.

Additional requirements for the Registered Dental Hygienist include:

• Must have a current Registered Dental Hygienist license from the State of California
• CPR Certificate
• Prefer 2+ years of experience
• Malpractice Insurance (we will help you attain insurance if you do not have any)
• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs
• Knowledge and familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus
• Continuing Education Courses to keep up with licensure in the State of California
