Registered Dental Hygienist needed in our Santa Monica, CA dental office

Join Our Dynamic Dental Practice as a Dental Hygienist!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our multi-doctor dental office on a part-time basis. Our practice prides itself on providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the oral health of our diverse patient base, ranging from general care to specialized procedures.

We are a small private dental office. Therefore, patient experience is highly valued in our practice. You will have an hour per adult patient (regular prophylaxis), one hour per quad of SRP, 30 mins per child patient. You will be responsible for your own hygiene sterilization and xrays. We are a tight knit office, we always help each other out if we are free and see a colleague in need of assistance.

Bonus system is available after 30 days. Will discuss further during phone interview.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ oral health and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform dental prophylaxis, SRP, and periodontal maintenance in a timely and efficient manner.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, the importance of preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain a high standard of infection control and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

- Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with a valid state license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient education and preventive care.
- Comfort working in a multi-doctor and PPO/private practice environment.

- We provide our team with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, ensuring your safety and that of our patients.
- You will have scheduled breaks, including a 1-hour lunch break, to recharge between patients.
