Front Desk Dental Receptionist - Albert Duarte DMD - Cambridge, MA

Cambridge general dental practice is seeking a responsible, enthusiastic person with a positive and professional demeanor. Must be dependable, organized, detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills. The ability to make patients feel comfortable and work both independently and as a team member are essential along with a willingness to learn new tasks. Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not required. The applicant must be seeking a long-term position, i.e., not a “summer job.” The ability to multi-task in our fast-paced office is a must. On-the-job training is available for an entry-level candidate. Pleasant work environment with highly-competitive pay and benefits. Position is Monday through Thursday 7:45 to 5:15. Free parking but also close to Porter Square T station.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting patients to the practice
Answering telephone in a professional and friendly manner
Scheduling and confirming appointments by telephone
Inputting patient data
Assisting patients in filling out information forms
Performing general office duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying
Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
