Dental Hygienist needed in our Los Angeles, CA dental office

We are looking for a "team player" Dental Hygienist to help treat our fantastic patients. You are reliable,  promoting trust with your patient and ensuring good health practices.  We are a cooperative staff; we'll help whenever possible. You have a good eye for detecting oral disease, both hard tissue and soft tissue.

In other words, you know your Stuff!  We follow CDC and LA County guidelines to maintain a tight ship.

Prior experience as an RDH is a plus.  Responsibilities include:

Taking vital readings for each patients at the beginning of each appointment.

Conduct oral health screening and reviewing medical and oral history.  Identifying conditions with the doctor, and establishment of treatment needs of your patient (soft tissue or hard tissue disease, biopsy, etc.).

Removal of plaque and calculus as needed (longer scheduling as needed for root planing procedures).

Patient education/ plaque control instructions prn.

Taking necessary xrays. 4 BWX and 2PA/ year.  FMX only if time permits.

Cleaning your room and preparing your instruments for sterilization.  Restocking your treatment room.
