Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. This person must be passionate about providing exceptional service and prioritizing work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. Experience with treatment planning and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the job is a must. The role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in dental software, and a proactive approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly, assist them with check-in, and ensure a positive experience from start to finish.
Handle appointments efficiently and accurately using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a MUST for effective communication with a diverse patient base.
Should have experience in presenting treatment plans and a solid understanding of dental terminology.
Verify patient insurance information and process insurance claims.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing detailed information about services and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Ensure that all tasks are completed with a high level of attention to detail and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of dental office experience.
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a dental or medical setting.
Strong experience in presenting treatment plans and knowledge of dental terminology.
Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Familiarity with insurance verification, scheduling, and medical records management.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
A dedicated, patient-focused attitude with a passion for providing excellent service.
Basic knowledge of medical coding is a plus but not required.
