Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist with 5+ years experience to join our mobile dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and patient management systems.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members in providing comprehensive patient care.
Stay informed about advancements in dental technology and practices.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
5+ years of experience as a hygienist.
Proficiency in medical imaging and familiarity with medical coding systems is preferred.
Knowledge of Denticon is a plus.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and four-handed dentistry techniques.
Must be adaptable as we are a mobile clinic which comes with a different set of challenges than a brick and mortar office.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Experience in managing medical records effectively is an asset.
