Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental hygienist to join our team. As a dental hygienist, provider, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the oral health and well-being of our community.
Duties:
- Perform both routine and deep dental cleanings and oral hygiene treatments for patients
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings
- Take dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Open Dental software
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred
- Familiarity with medical records management, including dental terminology and coding
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and practices
- Ability to take vital signs and perform patient assessments
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Nevada
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
