Dental Hygienist needed Thursdays, Fountain Valley, CA

We are looking for a Part Time Hygienist for Thursday from 7:45am - 5:15pm. We are a long standing, ethical, and patient-centered fee for service practice with double hygiene everyday.

Extremely clean and modern office with above and beyond COVID precautions.

Duties include:

• Dental health education/reviewing health history
• Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
• Local anesthesia for Root planning
• Digital radiographs of teeth (Panorex, B/W,)
• Perio charting
• Applying topical fluoride to help prevent tooth decay
• Reviewing outstanding treatment with patient at recall appointment
• Scheduling next recall appointment

Position Highlights:

• 1 hour per patient with max 8 patients per day, 1 hour/Quad SRP
• No hygiene production goals
• NO FMX's for hygiene (only recall & pano's)
• Overflow hygiene room to help stay on schedule
• Suction mirrors, yearly instrument replacements (including Cavitron inserts)

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Dental Hygiene degree and valid California license required
• At least 2 years of private practice experience in dental hygiene
• Current CPR certification
• An understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations and all dental safety guidelines
• Excellent chairside manners and ability to build rapport with our patients
• Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus
• Follow COVID guidelines and PPE requirements
