Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a long-term temporary position. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. This position may have the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We are a friendly, quality focused private dental practice in beautiful Seal Beach, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and break down operatories with exceptional infection control practices.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Take and organize digital dental X-rays (if licensed)
- Record patient medical and dental histories.
- Provide patients with pre-and post-operative instructions.
- Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Dental Assistant Certification or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California
- Current BLS (Basic Life support/CPR) certification.
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a cohesive team in a quality focused environment.
Schedule:
Tuesday -Wednesday- Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm
