Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role is essential in promoting overall dental health and ensuring a positive experience for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Document patient medical records accurately and efficiently.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist in the management of patient care, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient knowledge of general dentistry principles and practices.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical coding systems related to dental procedures.
Excellent patient care skills, with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for patients.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and staff.
