Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and dental evaluations. Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments. Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members in a four-handed dentistry setting to provide efficient care. Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology is essential. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong skills in patient assessment, infection control, and aseptic technique. Familiarity with dental assisting practices is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy dental office environment.
