Position Overview The Registered Dental Hygienist plays a key role in delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care while supporting patient education and overall oral health. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms in accordance with established protocols and procedures Perform dental cleanings appropriate to each patientâs clinical needs Maintain dental instruments through proper sterilization, sharpening, and selection Obtain and process dental radiographs Assess oral health by examining gingival tissues, screening for oral cancer, and evaluating periodontal status Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, plaque control, and post-treatment care Document clinical findings, dental histories, and patient visits accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment Working Environment Fully digital practice utilizing Open Dental software Advanced clinical technology, including cordless prophy angles, a newer Cavitron with updated inserts, Florida Probe voice-activated periodontal charting, and personal intraoral cameras 60-minute hygiene appointments and 90-minute SRP appointments Structured and distinctive new-patient experience Collaborative, positive workplace culture Compensation Base pay with commission opportunities and team-wide bonus structure Estimated earning potential: $35â$45 per hour Requirements Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Active license to administer local anesthesia Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
