Job Summary
Great short-term opportunity to cover a 6-month maternity leave with possibility of full-time employment. We need an experienced, full-time Dental Assistant for a well-established Dentist in a modern office located in Flemington, NJ. Main responsibilities include chair-side assisting of Dentist, taking patient X-rays, sterilization, setting up rooms, and patient education. The ideal candidate must be experienced with a valid NJ dental X-ray license. Looking for a team player that is focused on patient care and wants to work in a family practice.
Responsibilities and Duties

Assist the Dentist during a variety of patient treatment procedures
Take patient X-rays
Prepare and sterilize instruments
Set up and breakdown treatment rooms
Review post-op care
Educate patients on oral health care
Cross-train with front office and perform various office tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skills

Previous dental assisting experience required - 2 years preferred
RDA preferred
Valid NJ X-ray license
Knowledge of Dentrix software preferred
Good time management and attention to detail
Adherence to OSHA and HIPPA standards
