About the Position
SPP Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Practice Insurance Biller/Eligibility Verifier to join our expanding team. This is a Monday – Friday position. The ideal candidate will be able to work both in person at our Lehi, UT office and remotely and will report directly to the Billing Manager. Occasional travel may be required.
Job Description
· Checking/verifying insurance eligibility for patients
· Submission of pre-authorizations
· Processing dental insurance claims
· Follow-up on unpaid claims
· Coordinating with in-office teams regarding the eligibility of patient coverage, claim status, and remaining patient balances

Position Qualifications
· Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate by phone and in person with dental practice teams.
· Previous work with dental Practice Management Software (PMS) preferred (Experience with CareStack, Dentrix, Open Dental, and Eaglesoft is a plus!)
· Computer skills, with the ability to learn additional skills in PMS, and Google
· Pride in customer service (a must!)
· Reliable; self- and team-motivated to accomplish goals
· The ability to problem-solve and critically think
· High school graduate or equivalent, associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
· Previous experience in dental billing required
· Ability to manage time effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
