• Prior dental experience - required
• Knowledge of insurance claims, verification of benefits and navigating insurance companies.- preferred but not required
• 16 - 24hrs per week (Part time to start, full time within a year for the right individual)

We are seeking a dedicated, friendly and organized Dental Receptionist / Front Desk to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations, providing excellent customer support, and managing various tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, have a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families warmly create a welcoming first impression.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries.
• Schedule new patient exams, recalls and follow-ups.
• Confirm appointments (text/email/phone).
• Monitor and fill gaps in the schedule to maximize availability and staffing time.
• Reduce cancellation rate by offering flexible rescheduling options.
• Collect and verify insurance, financial forms, and health history forms.
• Procedures pre/post forms completed and scanned to corresponding patient.
• Maintain a clean, organized and kid -friendly front desk and front area.
• Assist with marketing tasks.
• Respond to patient messages within one business day.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
• Team player excited to help build a positive, supportive office culture.
• Help with sterilization and break down chair when needed.
• No drama.
