Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Monroe, MI

You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. Position would start right away (January 2026) Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records Skills Proven experience as Dental Assistant or similar role (Open to new graduates) Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (or willing to learn) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment (or willing to learn) A patient and friendly personality Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients and other members of the dental team.
