We are a privately owned pediatric dental office looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We care for children of all ages and are seeking someone who: Truly enjoys working with kids Has a kind, patient, and upbeat attitude Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment YOUR ROLE ON OUR TEAM Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures Prepare and organize tools and equipment for patient visits Greet and prepare patients, helping to ease dental anxiety and create a positive experience Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all infection control and safety guidelines QUALIFICATIONS Current Radiography Certification (required) State-recognized Dental Assistant Certification (required) Annual OSHA, HIPPA, and Infection Control training (required) Experience working in a professional setting with direct patient contact (preferred) CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification (preferred) Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia Monitoring Certification (preferred) 1+ year dental assisting experience (preferred) Pay rate varies based on experience and credentials; candidates with Coronal Polishing Certification will be compensated at a higher rate.
