Dental Hygienist - Stephen J. Tychostup DDS, PLLC - Saratoga Springs, NY

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team on either a part or full time basis. We are small, growing, friendly, and non-corporate practice. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent oral care to our patients. Hours: Office hours 8AM-430PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. 8AM-2PM Wednesday Hourly rate: $50-52 per hour, negotiable. Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Conduct patient assessments and oral screenings - Take digital x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Open Dental) - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care Requirements: - Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of New York - Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist - Proficient in medical documentation and recordkeeping - Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Please note that this is not an entry-level position.
