The ideal candidate for this position has worked with patients from preschoolers to the elderly and is proficient in instructing patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene care. In addition to preventive care appointments and scheduled procedures, we accept walk-ins and take emergency calls. Collect medical and dental histories from patients Chart conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist. Examine gums, using probes, to locate periodontal recessed gums and signs of gum disease Provide clinical services or health education to improve and maintain the oral health of patients or the general public. Maintain patient recall system Sterilize dental instruments and tools Take X-rays of patients’ teeth and develop them for dentist’s use Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures Conduct dental health clinics for community groups to augment services of dentist.
