About Us: Perimeter Dental Group is a family owned general dentistry practice. We have been dedicated to providing high-level care to our patients in Dublin for over 35 years. The primary focus of our office is providing quality dental care and positive experiences for our patients. We are a moderately sized office, with three rotating dentists and 2-3 columns of hygiene each day. Our office is up to date and equiped with new technology including an iTero scanner, intraoral cameras, and a CBCT. Seeking: We are seeking a skilled full time Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. Lead Dental Assistant Duties: As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in caring for our patients. This includes a wide range of duties including : Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Acquire dental radiographs (X-Rays) Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and retracting tissues We perform a wide range of procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, endodontic treatment, extractions, dentures, Invisalign, and implants. Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Organizing and ordering supplies as well as stocking rooms Applicable Skills: Familiarity with dental / medical terminology and documentation Proficiency in dental coding and billing Knowledge of infection control including instrument sterilization Competency and certification to acquired dental radiographs (X-Rays) Comfortable working with a wide range of patients including pediatric and elderly patients Strong assisting skills during dental procedures * Prior experience with Dentrix Ascend electronic health record system is helpful, but not required. Requirements: Full time availability (Monday - Friday) High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited dental assisting program Current certification in dental radiography (X-ray certification) CPR certification (preferred) * Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred, but not required.
