Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health! You will work closely with our dedicated dental professionals to provide preventative care, perform assessments, and educate patients on maintaining their oral hygiene. Your expertise will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry. What you’ll do Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to ensure optimal oral health. Utilize imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences and outcomes. Basic qualifications Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficiency in using systems such as Practiceworks. Comfortable treating early stages of Perio disease with Scaling and Root Planing. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Part Time Hours Working three days a week on Tuesdays 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, Wednesdays from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Thursday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
