Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Toledo, OH
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and friendly dental assistant to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have the skill to assist the dentist during a variety of procedures and ensure excellent patient care. Responsibilities: - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist during all procedures - Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare - Take digital x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records -Take impressions and pour models -Punctual and reliable; a great communicator - Proficient in infection control protocols - Familiarity with Dentrix software - Knowledge of dental terminology - Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques - Competent in assisting with various dental procedures - Understanding of HIPAA regulations -Fabricate and temporarily cement provisional crowns -Equipment care/maintenance Benefits: Health Insurance Paid Vacation 6 Paid Holidays 401k/match In office laundry Dental benefits Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:30 huddle-5pm. 1 hour lunch break Friday 9am-1pm Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Ohio Radiographer License (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Toledo, OH 43613 (Required) Work Location: In person
